Conducting surgery

The eye doctor removes the top part of the cornea, then the laser removes the inner part and puts the top layer back in place. The operation is performed under local anesthesia, not general anesthesia. Accordingly, the damage to the body is minimal. The patient feels well. After the operation, vision starts to recover after 2-3 days. Further procedures aimed at speeding up the healing period are carried out by the patient independently at home.

Contraindications to surgical intervention

Vision correction with laser surgery is not performed by people under the age of 18 and people over the age of 60. In addition, this surgical intervention is contraindicated in the presence of such diseases in the patient as tuberculosis, diabetes, oncology. Laser correction is strictly not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.

Postoperative period

As mentioned earlier, vision recovers very quickly after laser surgery. The patient only has to observe the rules of eye hygiene and temporarily exclude physical activity. Complications from the laser procedure are minimal.
